I have always had a desire to help people. Years ago (before I was in health care) I was flying standby to Orlando. I got the last economy seat in the back of the plane. The woman next to me sat rigidly. She confessed that she was deathly afraid of flying.
The plane began to shake as we crossed into Florida. Suddenly we heard the pilot’s voice. “Sorry folks. We will need to divert to Tampa due to high shearing winds. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please buckle your seat belts. Flight attendants take your seats.”
I could see and hear the panic in her eyes and voice. The plane’s shaking got worse. She became more tense. Other passengers were beginning to be anxious – and vocal – as well.
I spoke to her and held her hand until touchdown. And then up the jet way to baggage claim.
Helping her calmed my fears as well. Sharing strengths to address problems is a great way to lead our lives and grow our business.

What do you know about the sleep industry?
It has been my privilege and passion to work as a clinician, educator and consulting project manager for over thirty years. I have treated thousands of patients and clients in private clinics, community organizations and integrative medicine environments.
Sleep issues are common. Copywriting, like health care, requires uncovering the real reasons our clients seek help – the emotional underbelly of the situation.
‘I want to feel normal, not depressed and anxious.’
‘I want to be able to play with my grandkids again.’
‘I want to be less irritable with my family, friends and at work.’
What do you know about marketing in the health and sleep industry?
I owned, marketed and provided care – and products – in my clinic and other care facilities for over thirty years. This included supplements and related products for insomnia – as well as other disorders.
I provided in-services to local organizations. I also spoke at health and research conferences. My clinical experience in hospitals, care units and community outreach clinics provided me with experience in diverse patient environments in the U.S. and abroad.
What kinds of copywriting and tasks do you handle?
I cover a broad range of services from lead generation emails and ads to long sales copy. I also provide web content, articles, blog posts, newsletters, ads and audits.
If you are presenting new or improved products I can help you with press releases, case studies and white papers. If you are attending trade shows, I write brochures and one sheets.
Other services include video sales letter and webinar scripts. Both inform and persuade your target markets to buy your products. And pass on the good word.
